Over the past few months I’ve come to realize that my emotions have been ruling me and determining how I “feel” each day. My emotions have been based on my circumstances, which I can’t always control. I was reminded that I should consider it great joy, even during various trials (James 2). God is in control, so just let my faith rest in Him. I can be crying and be joyful of the heart at the same time, because my faith is in Him. When the world says there is no hope….my hope is in Jesus Christ.
I’ve added this page to my website to list Bible verses that I find the remind me my joy comes from God, not circumstances. It is something I must choose daily to believe, to remind myself. Too many times I have let circumstances determine my mindset….no more. From now on….I Choose Joy!
